That's why EKKIRENT exists.
Ordering from abroad should not be the only option.
For every heavy-lifting, pipeline or wind turbine operation in France, the only way to work with a professional whose core business is renting crane mats was to order from the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany: long transport, high costs, no local expert to support you.
EKKIRENT was born to solve exactly that problem.

17 years in the field, expertise forged on your sites
Before founding EKKIRENT, 17 years were spent assembling and dismantling wind turbines and managing heavy-lifting operations in the field. France, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Japan: hundreds of sites, as many different grounds, extreme conditions and logistical challenges.
We worked alongside crane operators, site managers and lifting teams on projects where safety, ground bearing capacity and heavy-load stability leave no room for improvisation. Throughout those years, crane mats were essential site companions. We remember emergencies where they cleared ground constraints in a few hours, and projects where, without them, nothing would have been possible. This is not a product we discovered when founding EKKIRENT. It is a tool we used, observed and learned to master over all those years.

Port-la-Nouvelle, Southern France
Located in Occitanie, Port-la-Nouvelle is EKKIRENT's logistics heart. The port is rapidly developing and establishing itself as a strategic hub for renewable energy in the Mediterranean, particularly for offshore wind projects. It is from here that we cover the south of France and the Mediterranean basin.
Pontoise, Paris region (25 km from Paris)
Our Pontoise stock lets us serve the entire northern half of France, from Brest to Strasbourg, with reduced transport costs and controlled lead times. At both depots, we offer a varied range of crane mats to suit the widest range of site configurations.

Timber has a story
A controlled supply chain, a visited factory
EKKIRENT crane mats are not bought from a catalogue. We went to the factory, we checked the manufacturing, the process, the quality of the timber. We know the origin of what we rent and sell.
The timber comes from parcels approved for harvesting, compliant with the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Azobé/Ekki strength class D70, the highest for hardwoods under EN 338. Density 1,050–1,100 kg/m³. Resistant to mud, salt water and termites. No chemical treatment required.
